1, 2, 3, 4, Veronica and Zero had loads of functional guns that were good for different things and got introduced in the first third of the game with 3 being the most flexible in terms of how you wanted to play it. They are both ♥♥♥♥ for a very simple reason: weapon progression.

This is just my simple, humble, but honest opinion and it's totally up to you whether this, and everyone else's post, is convincing enough to purchase it! If you need a partner, you definitely came to the right place!

I will say, though, that the characters in Resident Evil 5, Chris and Sheva, don't seem to be as full of life as the other characters in the sequel, and for me, that really convinces me as to which Resident Evil is the one I'd like my time invested into :) I like to see the emotion that comes with completing a monumentous feat *flashback to the end of Sherry and Leon's Campaign <3* because it makes all the time one puts into the game worth it! Everytime I experience(d) a cutscene in the game, I NEVER want skip it even if my co-op partner wants to! They shall share the burden of beautiful character development! Of course, like every game, there's definitely some odd quirks that Resident Evil 6 has that you'll see for yourself (doesn't want to spoil anything, but wants to prove a point T_T), but that's just what makes the game even more fun to play going through the quirks with a partner is definitely a blast!Ĭomparing Resident Evil 5 and 6, I don't think I've played enough Resident Evil 5 to give a PROPER compare and contrast.

HLTB RESIDENT EVIL 3 REMAKE SERIES

What I loved most about the series was definitely the characters especially Leon and Helena! I thought they made a GREAT duo, until I learned about how much of an influence Ada was on Leon XD. Resident Evil 6 is actually my favorite game of all time :) It was the first game in the series that I was introduced to and I was fortunate enough to have a friend that wanted me to play with him in its entirety! I played on the Xbox 360/Xbox One and it is definitely easier to play with a controller as opposed to a mouse and keyboard! I would know, because I may or may not have two copies of Resident Evil 6 because I love it so much and want to experience it with everything modern gaming PCs have to offer in terms of graphics XD The extra modes also allowed me ton of fun.įor me there is not color, I like RE5, but I love RE6. The plot is very exciting too, the characters casting is bigger and more awesome, the cooperative improve allowing people joint anytime, the controls are a hug enhacement (finally can move and shoot), there are melee and more combos, the combat is the funniest and best one of the franchise till the date, the soundtrack is very varied and suitable to the scenes, there are more different locations in the levels and a variety of situations. RE6 lowered the graphic quality for quantity, (their textures are lower res, but their areas tend to be more wide open), and it made something much worst, that is the exploration (RE6 is more linneal than RE5 and with less diversions, it's practically you can only follow the path º.,º), but leaving those two elements on a side, the rest is better in my opinion. RE5 is a good outstanding game, it was ones of the first in show the new graphic capacity of the console, it managed to make it also very good cinematics, the plot was exciting and entertaining, the lenght was right, the coop was fun, and the exploration was on an acceptable level (is a linneal game, but with many secret objects hided through the maps). I like both, but I love RE6 by far much more. It's one of the best selling RE games of all time and it still keeps selling despite the bad reputation some people branded it with. Of course, due to sheer amount of content some things didn't get the attention they deserve, especially the texture department.

It's a superior coop & action experience that is also offering much more replayability with much more content to offer in comparison to 5's only 1 campaign. People that enjoy fun action coop games do love RE6 and that's directly reflected on recent steam store page reviews as the game is hitting its target audience.Ħ modernized the controls and added a lot of depth to it, it scares some people away as some never learn and just shoot and mash melee button. I'd argue that already happened with RE4 and RE5. I'd say majority of people that didn't like it because it was too action-oriented. Originally posted by lilwing:It's not such a bad third-person action game maybe, but still worse than its predecessor, and that's why people don't like it.
